Condolences
My condolences to the Gilbert family. Lillie was a great and wonderful person. I met her during my softball coaching years, when her daughters played at OHS. Then continued her friendship through Sloan Insurance, when I needed her the most during our trucking years. Lillie you will me missed by many and never forgotten Rest In Peace.
What a wonderful woman! I never heard a disparaging remark from her. She was one of the most positive people I have ever known. I will always picture her with a grin on face and energy in her step. I will miss you terribly Lillie! With love, Mindy

Lillie was an example of grace, beauty, and kindness. As I grew up, she was a role model to me of femininity and motherhood. I would think about her as I faced different situations in my life and ask myself how she would handle them. Her values were apparent to all and this guided several key decisions in my life. She was a good teacher and mentor as well.
We are so sorry to hear of Lillie's passing. She was an inspiration of love, kindness and strength, a wonderful classmate and friend. Our love to Raymond and the family.
Lillie was a great inspiration to me in my youth. She was an amazing young woman leader that inspired me with her smile, stories and genuine love for others. My condolences to her family.
I’m so sorry to hear this news. Lillie was one of the greatest women I’ve known. A great example of grace, elegance and strength.
Incredibly beautiful, kind, darling, warrior woman! Made you feel like the most important person in the room when she talked to you! She will be sorely missed and a greatly anticipated reunion! We are all better for knowing her!
Lillie and Raymond were kind enough to let us hold our reception in their backyard in October of 2003. I kept apologizing for all the work she had to do and she said, “don’t you worry about it, you’re my excuse for Raymond finishing up my water fountain and helping me with the yard work!” What a beautiful heart and light in the world! Aunt Lillie also hemmed my temple dress for me. Any sewing questions or flower conundrums I had, she was the woman to ask!
Lillie taught me how to sew with knit fabrics for the first time. Because of that, I was able to sew many clothes for my daughters at little expense. I always admired her talents for sewing , cooking and her beautiful yard wherever she lived. She always welcomed us into her home and was so kind to everyone. We will miss her greatly, but I know she will always be helping her family with their needs. Love you Lillie❤️
