We are so very saddened by Sandy’s passing. She is a wonderful lady and it was an honor to have been neighbors and friends. She is such a special lady and one of the most genuine people to have known. Maria always remembers one day when your mom came over and asked if her if she had coffee. My mom, Maria, said of course and your mom sat down and began to cry. My mom was so worried and asked what was wrong... she said I just dropped Shelaine off at her first day of school. They were able to have a few laughs, but it’s always been clear you were and will always be Sandy’s world. We will miss her so very much and know that she will always be watching over you.
My prayers are with you all...Sandy will be remembered long past her physical absence! I can still hear her laugh, which came so very often. Sandy always had a helpful heart and a Grace about her , and anyone who met her, met her knew she was a terrific lady! I remember one time when they brought my then five-year-old granddaughter in to the office. When I took her into Sandy's office and she was given a lollipop, she turned to Sandy and said, "Are you the president of this place?" As you can imagine Sandy just roared and said yes I guess I am. We will forever remember this beautiful woman.
Terry and I send our love to Shelaine and family. Terry had such a wonderful visit with Sandy, Steve and Shelaine a year ago. Sandy was so hospitable and kind. She will be missed and I am sorry I did not get a chance to meet her. She had said that she was hoping to see us this Spring. Shelaine, please keep in touch.
Sandy has been my friend since grade school. I love her very much and will miss her dearly
