He is also survived by his siblings; Leota Stewart, Charlie (Bobbi) Faust, Bill (Ginger) Faust, Daniel (Sheila) Richardson, and Janet (Joel) Bargmann. He has many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren that he loved dearly.

He is proceeded in death by his Mother; Louise Boroni, and Father; Joseph Richardson.

He was born in Detroit Michigan to Louise Hunter and Joseph Richardson in 1942. He was a Senior in High School when he met his future wife, Sharon Ward. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in August of 2018.

Phillip worked very hard during his lifetime, and loved his family. Everyone loved him! He was a humble man, always looking out for others instead of himself. Many times he would help someone less fortunate even though he did not have much to give himself. He was an amazing Father, Grandfather, Uncle, brother, and husband! Even though his jobs were laborious, he would always find energy and time to spend with his children. He took us outdoors a lot, and loved to fish. He seemed to be happiest when he was at the ocean or in the woods. One of his favorite things to do was to stay up late playing cards with his family and friends.

He had many talents....he was a gifted writer. He wrote short stories, poetry, life experiences, and had a wicked sense of humor. He was extremely intelligent....he was always up to date on world events, and a math wiz. He had a lot of wisdom that he shared with his family, and that wisdom sticks with us now. He will be missed more than words can say.

There will be a private Memorial Service in the Spring for friends and family. Notifications will be sent out at a later date. Please feel free to upload photos to this site for sharing, add condolences or comments, and anything that moves you. We would enjoy hearing stories about our Father.

We will always be grateful and feel very blessed to have had him as our Dad.

With Deepest Love and Loss,

The Richardson Family
