Dimmy Barclay Eberwein

May 15, 1942 — June 7, 2018

Dimmy Barclay Eberwein, a child of God, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 of heart failure in her Post Falls Idaho home.  She was 76 years young.

Dimmy loved Jesus and sharing the word of our Lord.  Fellowship with friends and family was a daily occurrence.  She often displayed random acts of kindness to total strangers (usually anonymously) and was always there for her loved ones.  She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.  She was proud of her children and their families.  Her home was a great source of joy and an extension of her warm and inviting personality.  Her giggle was contagious and her hugs always so comforting.

She was born in San Juan Puerto Rico to Felix and Paulina Oramas.  She is survived by her three children, Tammy Arenz, Jason Whitaker and Cassy Whitaker; her sister Isabelle (Isa) Bertsch and half-brother Felix Oramas; her five grandchildren, Kisa Jones, Curtis Seidel, Stevi Alford, Kinsey and Tyler Whitaker; and her four great grandchildren, Cooper Jones, Braxton and Tucker Seidel and Brooklyn Shoopman.

She will be missed by all that knew her.  We are comforted to know she is now with our Lord in Heaven watching down on us, still showering us with love, kisses and hugs.

There will be a memorial service held at the Living Word Fellowship 1600 E. Seltice Way, Post Falls, ID 83854.  Please contact the Fellowship at (208) 457-1665 for details on date and time.  The family requests that any donations be made in Dimmy’s name to the Fellowship.

Her remains will be placed at the El Carmelo Cemetery 68 Asilomar Ave., Pacific Grove, CA 93950.
