Steven Dale Diamond

June 14, 1971 — June 13, 2017

Steven Dale Diamond, 45, of Post Falls, Idaho passed away on June 13, 2017, after a courageous fight against Leukemia.  Steven was born September 14, 1971, in Simi Valley, California to Roger and Judy (Hutchison) Diamond. 

Steven grew up in Antelope Valley California.  He graduated from Quartz Hill High School, and was currently attending North Idaho College to become a drug and alcohol counselor.   He will be remembered as a kind and loving man who saw the good in everyone.  He loved life, his family, and his children and always made friends easily.  He fought hard to beat cancer three times in his life and always was willing to do for others.  He loved to tell stories, and had a contagious sense of humor.  He loved his Harley and enjoyed his time with the Unchained Brotherhood MC.  He attended Real Life Ministries and loved God and his church.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a sonar technician aboard the USS Antietam, and traveled around the world before his honorable discharge.  He also served as a California correctional officer which he retired from. 

He is survived by his wife Jeni Diamond, Son Tyler Diamond and (Rikki Boersen) and unborn granddaughter, of Post Falls, Idaho; son Ryan Diamond (Adalia Carlin Eagle) and grandson Greysen Diamond of Susanville, CA, and son Casey Diamond of Post Falls, Idaho; the mother of his children Tricia Diamond of Susanville, CA, step-daughters Kylah Marie and Angel Rose, step-son Skyler Lee, Mother Judy Diamond, sisters Lori (Rex) Jensen of Post Falls, Idaho, Susan (Mel) Summers, of Palmdale, CA, brother; Mathew (Deb) Diamond of Redmond OR, nieces and nephews, Joy and Sherry Jensen, Christopher and Johnathan Summers, Amanda and Justin Diamond, and Nate and Haley Diamond. 

He was preceded in death by his father Rodger Dale Diamond, brother Jeffrey Scott Diamond, grandson Liam Diamond, and grandparents Dorothy Diamond, and Maxine Johnson. 

He will be laid to rest at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Washington on June 23, 2017 at 9:45 AM. A  Celebration of his life will be at White Pines Park on Spokane St. in Post Falls, Idaho immediately following the ceremony at 12:00 pm.  He will be greatley missed by all.
