Janet Frisella

September 30, 1952 — April 2, 2012

Janet M. Frisella (59), passed away on April 2, 2007 at KMC after fighting a persistent disease that has affected her life for the past 15 years off and on. She can now finally get the peaceful rest she so deserves. Jan was born September 30, 1952 in Kalispell, MT. She moved to Santa Maria, CA and spent a good part of her youth growing up along the coast. She loved this part of her life, especially living so close to the ocean and her playground being Pismo Beach. Jan attended high school and obtained an Associates Degree while in California. She then moved back to Kalispell with her mother in 1977. She attended more college at Flathead Valley Community College and also worked at the college bookstore. Work was important to Jan and she loved working with the public. Prior to her sickness and becoming a mom, Jan loved working for the public in the retail sector. Equally important to Jan was shopping. She loved things, especially clothing, jewelry, dolls and she could not pass up a cute little stuffed animal. She loved to read, go camping, exercise, walking, and weight lifting. Her husband, Dan, relocated for jobs in Billings and Helena MT, Iowa, Wyoming and finally Idaho, so Jan got to see many places and enjoyed aspects of all places that she lived. Definitely a free spirit, Jan lived for the moment rather than the future. Her most important priorities were the health and well-being of her family, especially her son, Stephen, who was born in Billings. Jan was preceded in death by her mother, Elda Stone Grainger of Kalispell, Dad, Daniel Stone Sr. of Hayden, ID. She leaves behind her husband, Daniel Frisella and son, Stephen, of Post Falls; brother, Daniel Stone Jr. and nephew Eric Stone both from Helena, MT, Buster( her crazy little Quaker parrot), cousins, nephews and nieces in Kalispell and Helena MT. Thanks to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Jan at KMC over the past 6-7 years from her periodic stays and most especially to her personal physician, Dr Brososky at the Hayden Family Clinic. We love you Jan and you will be missed greatly.
