Beverly Lynn Dewitt

Beverly "Lynn" DeWitt of Post Falls died April 4, 2023 surrounded by her large close family. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 15, 1940 and was the only daughter of Jacob and Melva Klos. As a child, Lynn loved horses, dancing and spending time on the family farm. She married Larry Dean DeWitt in 1958 and followed him around the US as a devoted Navy wife for twenty years. They Divorced in 1978. She worked in the telecommunications industry for 25 years before retiring in 2003. Lynn loved being retired and enjoyed traveling, working on genealogy, and playing computer games. She loved most of all spending time with friends and family and spent a lot of her time watching her grandchildren's sporting activities. Lynn was proceeded in death by her parents Jacob and Melva Klos and her brother Jacob Francis Klos II. She is survived by her four children: Kristi Topp (Scott), Larry Dean DeWitt II (Laurie), David DeWitt (Christine), and Lori Snyder (David). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Matthew Topp, Cori DeWitt, Skadi Austin, Jacob DeWitt, Ryan DeWitt, Sean Colglazier, Chanel DeWitt, Kelly Topp, Cameron DeWitt, Andrew Snyder, Daniel Snyder, Larry Dean DeWitt III, Charles DeWitt. Four step grandchildren: Brian Oliver, Michelle Oliver, Travis Oliver, and Tyler Oliver. Lynn is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and many in-laws. No services are planned and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Idaho Boys Ranch, Wounded Warriors, or Auburn Crest Hospice.
