Samuel Leroy Jarvis

Samuel Leroy Jarvis, age 82 from Spirit Lake Idaho passed away on March 1, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family. Sam was born October 5, 1940 in Coeur d’ Alene, ID to Harry Moore Jarvis and Marjorie Jean Jarvis (Loper). Samuel grew up on Idaho Hill with his grandparents, aunts and uncle. Samuel served in the United States Navy from August 21, 1961 to August 20, 1967. He was stationed on Guam during the Vietnam war. After serving in the military he worked for the Diamond International Sawmill/Crown Pacific till he retired in 2003. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and all outdoor activities with his family. He was married to Michelle Price Jarvis (Westerling) who proceeded him in death on January 31, 2023. He is survived by his sons Charles Jarvis of Spirit Lake, Alvin Jarvis of Athol, Jared Jarvis of Careywood and daughter Bethann Jarvis. His daughter in laws Loretta Jarvis and Marilyn Jarvis. 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, Mia May, Emma & Lucas.
