Preston. I barely have words. He was my sweetest, goofiest, cleverest student. He is the reason I want to be a teacher. Every week, he would jog into the classroom for tutoring with mud all over his knees and his sweet, contagious smile on his face. He usually had a ball in one hand and a snack in the other and his backpack falling off his shoulder. His witty jokes and determined attitude — I loved that sweet kid so much. Can’t wait to hug you again someday in a happier place, Preston. Sending all my love to Teegs and Tricia.
