Tammy West entered into the lords arms on December 09,2021 she suffered from severe COPD for many years and her body couldn't fight anymore she took her last breaths at Kootenai Medical Center with loved ones by her side. She was born August 8,1958 in Spokane, WA to Betty Price (Wahl) and Robert Price and lived there until she got married and then moved to Post Falls for many years then later moved to Coeur d' Alene, ID. She graduated from North Central High School in 1976 and after graduating she met David on a blind date on April Fools Day 1977 and the rest was history. They got married a year later, also on April Fools Day, in 1978 She was a stay at home mom for many years but after having their 3rd kid she decided to start working again and worked in the food service industry for many years from the Post falls Senior Center as a dishwasher then head cook then onto the Hot Rod café. Her last job was at Walmart where she worked in the deli until she had to quit due to her COPD diagnosis. Her greatest gift in life was being a mom to her 3 children and a grandma to her 3 grandchildren! She is survived by her husband David West: her 3 children Bradley West, Briana West & Alyssa West, her 3 grand children Keeth Garvin, Mackenzie Garvin-West and Kaiden West, and 6 brother and sisters (Gary, Pat, Randy, Connie, Sherry, Robbie). She is proceeded in death by her mother Betty Price (Wahl), father Robert Price and her younger sister Lori Ann Franklin. She loved going out and singing karaoke and dreamed of one day becoming a country singer. She was the life of the party she always had a smile on her face and no matter what life through at her always tried to remain positive and was always there as a mom/friend! Many of her children's friends considered her a 2nd mom because they knew they could come to her for anything! There will be no funeral at this time. Family will let everyone know when something will be held at a later date. If anyone would like to make a donation please reach out to her daughter, Briana West, if you would like to make a donation for any of the costs to help out her husband, David!
