Delores Marie Hanson

Delores Maria Hanson, 91, from Hauser Idaho, was called back to her Heavenly Father on Dec 2, 2021 in Hayden, ID. Delores M. Zuraff was born to her loving parents Ethel Emmert and Henry Zuraff in Bismarck, North Dakota on June 22, 1930. She was the youngest of eight siblings including Marge, Gladys, Hazel, Eveline, Dorothy, Jinx, Harold, and Dwayne. She married the love of her life Thomas J. Hanson in Harrison Idaho on May 10, 1948. Together they had four children Carole, Thomas, Susie, and James, and resided in Wallace, ID; Post Falls, ID; and Newman Lake, WA. Delores enjoyed working on the farm as well as taking care of individuals in her home in Newman Lake, WA. Later she enjoyed her final years growing petunias in her backyard and doing yard work at her residence in Hauser, ID. If she wasn't in her backyard she was taking the casino's money, she was one lucky lady. She loved taking rides around the Pacific Northwest to visit all the beautiful locations (and their casinos). She is survived by her daughter Carole Washburn (Hauser, ID), son and daughter-in-law James and Jennifer Hanson (Newman Lake, WA), daughter-in-law Carol Rector (The Dalles,WA) son-in-law Jerry Dassow (Colville, WA), 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She was immensely loved and will be greatly missed by her entire family and all those who knew her. A mass will be said in her honor on January 22, 2022 at St. Joseph's church in Otis Orchards, WA.
