Edra Evalee Cannon

February 3, 1940 — May 10, 2021

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Edra Evalee Cannon, of Rathdrum, Idaho, peacefully passed away on May 10, 2021; the daughter of George and Lillian (Bray) Johnson. Edra was born on February 3, 1940 in Stillwell, Oklahoma. She attended Rabbit Trap School and graduated from Stillwell High School. She then moved and lived in Central California for most of her adult life. In 2018, Edra moved to Rathdrum, Idaho with her loving daughter, Angela. In 1987, Edra married Billy Joe Cannon Sr. In Carmel, California. Together, they spend 31 wonderful years together until his passing in 2017. Together they raised 5 wonderful children. Besides being a wonderful wife and mother, Edra spent a number of years in retail services for the gaming industry. In Edra’s spare time, she loved to sing and was an active member of the Living Water Fellowship. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, bowling and fishing. Edra is survived by her son, Vince (Corincia) Perez; daughter, Angela (Randy Toschi) Perez; step-son, Tracy (Theresa) Cannon; step-son, Ricky (Tammy) Cannon; step-daughter Tina Cannon; her 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. “He’ll Be There” Why worry about the future And what will happen everyday Don’t let fear consume you As you go on your way The Lord said in the Good Book That He’d supply your needs Trust in Him and you will see That Trust is your growing seed Day’s will come and days will go And now troubles will appear You’ll always have persecution As long as you are here Put your trust upon the Lord He will see you to the end For He will be your Savior, Your Comforter, Your Friend Don’t let worries steal your Joy For you’ll never be alone And if things do get really bad, Remember He’ll be there to take you... ...Home
