William Power Obituary
William Power, 93 of Spirit Lake, Idaho passed away on July 20, 2022 in a tragic motorcycle accident while accompanied by his dear friend Janette Wolfe.
William was born on March 23, 1929 in Los Angeles to William Power and Edna Gibson. William served for the United States Navy in World War II and later served for the United States Army in the Korean War. William worked as a truck driver for Sears until his retirement in 1984. He and Dorothy then moved their family to Spirit Lake where he resided until his passing. Bill was an avid lover of trains, building and flying large scale R/C planes and racing motorcycles starting as a young man. His love of motorcycles continued until his passing.
William is survived by his children; his stepson Jerry (Jeanie) May, William H., Valerie F., Jeanette O., and Paul E. Power along with their families. William was preceded in death by his parents and wife Dorothy (Dottie) Power.
A memorial service is scheduled for this Saturday July 30, 2022 at the Flying Field at Farragut State Park in Athol, ID at 130pm with the American Legion presenting Military Honors promptly at 2pm. Be advised of the weather and heat for outside being uncovered.
