William Joseph Jones

William Joseph Jones, 85, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away July 29, 2022, with his loved ones by his side at Hospice of North Idaho in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. He was born April 28, 1937 in Vinita, OK to Ethel Isabell (Morrison) Jones Garroutte Lee. William grew up in Oklahoma. He enlisted in the Air Force where he worked as a jet engine mechanic. He met his first wife Margaret Poole and married in 1956 in SC. They had 6 children. He married Sylvia Prochaska in 1973. He married his third wife Barbara Lohr Oct. 1974. He owned and ran his own company building and remodeling homes and businesses. He enjoyed building homes, working on vehicles, prospecting, camping, nature, his cats, and spending time with his family and friends. William was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather to many. He was preceded in death by his mother, his wife, his brothers James Otis Jones and Denver Jay Jones, his sisters Olive Mae, Ora Sue and Hazel Pauline, his daughter Debra Ann, his sons Bobby Joe Jones and Darryl Allen Jones. His stepson Paul Boots, and his stepdaughter Shirley Neiman. He is survived by his children Sharon (Jones) Paris, Michael Jones, Timothy Jones (Amy Jones), Brian Jones-Paris (Stephanie Paris); daughter in laws Roxy Jones and Joy Jones, 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. His stepchildren Greg Boots, Jennifer (Boots) Chapin (Herb Chapin). A family side burial will be August 11 at 10am with a reception for friends and family to follow afterwards.
