Virginia Kempton

Kempton, Virginia Joan, passed away on December 21st 2012. Born in Chicago Illinois on August 17th 1936 to Alva and Irma Dobbs. Virginia graduated from Parker High School in Chicago and later earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Florida Southern College. She lived in Apopka, Florida for 38 years and for much of that time worked as a classification management specialist for Martin Marietta while raising three boys as a single mom. For the past six and a half years Virginia has called Post Falls Idaho her home where she enjoyed meeting with her friends at the Post Falls Senior Center and the North Idaho Mineral Club. She is survived by her sons Michael (Kelley) Post Falls, Kevin (Paula) Yorktown Virginia and Brian (Lori) Post Falls, eight grandchildren, Jordan, Benjamin, Shannon, Liam, Erin, Harrison, Byrcen and Zoe as well as niece Debbie Granko and nephew Steven Sulkowski of Frankfort Illinois, children of her late beloved only sister and best friend, Susan. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers her family respectfully asks that donations be made to the Post Falls Senior Center at PO Box 418 Post Falls Idaho 83877.
