Trilby Greene

May 2, 1928 — June 10, 2011

Trilby May (Holmes) Greene Trilby passed away June 10, 2011 from complications following hip surgery. She was born in Holyoke, CO to Roy and Anna Holmes on May 2, 1928. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Pearl and Lorraine, a brother Harold and survived by her husband Robert Greene, sons Carl Greene and Kelly Greene with wife Cathy, and granddaughter Kacey, brothers Lee Roy, Bob, and Richard Holmes and sister Opal Potter with numerous nieces and nephews. She was passionate about her faith in God, family, and ranch overlooking Hayden Lake. She spent many years teaching 4-H boys and girls the love of Jesus through her horses. She enjoyed the hours spent in her garden communing with God, cultivating flowers and vegetables, and killing weeds. "Stop me before I till again", was a favorite quote. While Trilby will be missed by her family, friends, and critters, she did not want us to dwell on her passing, so bring your favorite "Trilby" story to share. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Hayden Seventh-day Adventist Church, 12940 N. Government Way, and Hayden. A luncheon will follow. . 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
