Tracy Lynn (Stephenson) Pershern, aka “Trazy the Crazy Cat Lady”, age 53 of
Hayden, Idaho, passed away on March 17, 2022.
The Celebration of Life will be held at the Avondale Golf Course Clubhouse on Saturday March 26 at 11 am. Food will be provided. If you have any questions, please call Laurin at 208.660.8161
Tracy was born in Enumclaw, WA to Ron and Linda Stephenson on June 15,
1969. She graduated from Enumclaw Sr. High School in 1987. She worked as
a realtor in Montana, worked in cosmetology, was a sales person for a toy
company and held numerous positions with Kootenai Outpatient Imaging for
20 years serving thousands of patients. She enjoyed golf, fly fishing,
camping, white water rafting, painting and spending time with her son,
Laurin, in all of his Boy Scout activities.
She was involved in Komen’s Race for the Cure and was an enthusiastic
supporter of the Boy Scout program. She was so very proud of Laurin’s
achievement of an Eagle Scout.
Tracy is survived by her son, Laurin Pershern, a U.S. Marine stationed in
Japan, Laurin’s wife, Elena Revelez, her father, Ron Stephenson, her sister, Heidi Read, her boyfriend, John Freeman, nieces Angela Womach and Felicia Shyatt. Tracy is
preceded in death by her mother, Linda (Hotton) Stephenson.
Her 4 cats (Cash, No No Gray, Black Talon and June Carter) and Basset
Hound, Reba, were her fur babies that brought her great joy and comfort.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation,
National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or Kootenai Health Cancer Services.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kootenai Cancer Services and
all of her Kootenai Health co-workers and radiologists who love her deeply
and who each played a role on “Team Tracy”.
