Timothy (Tim) Michael Robson peacefully journeyed to the Great Fishing Hole in Heaven on December 1, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by his loving wife, Jessica Robson, and sister, Mary Stretch, Tim found solace at home during his final moments.
Tim leaves behind a profound legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Jessica Robson; adored son, Justin Robson; caring sister, Mary Stretch (Gary); and his father, Larry Robson. Tim also cherished the bond he shared with his four step-sisters: Kerrie Suewing, Chris Haman, Jodie Hobson, and Pam Tillman. Additionally, he had two step-children whom he deeply loved: Robert Bell (Katy) and Ashley McKinney (Kurt), along with their six beautiful step-grandchildren.
Preceding Tim in his passing are his beloved mother Fran Fitch and step-father Kenny Fitch.
A Veteran of the Air Force and dedicated member of the American Legion Post #0143 in Post Falls, Idaho, Tim's commitment to service extended beyond his military duty. For many years, he proudly belonged to the Montana Labor Union where he tirelessly contributed to pipeline construction projects. Amongst his ambitions before retirement was witnessing the completion of the Keystone Pipeline.
In his leisure time, Tim found immense joy in fishing the rivers of Montana alongside his dear friends Floyd Mossburg and Larry Wendt. Whether camping amongst nature's beauty or playing a round of golf together, these cherished friendships brought him countless moments of happiness. Tim's passion for fly fishing led him to build fly rods and fashion his own unique flies.
Time spent with Tim was a treasure that created lasting memories for all who knew him. His genuine warmth knew no bounds, and he treated everyone he encountered as a friend. The imprint he leaves upon our hearts is undeniable. Until we meet again.
A memorial service to honor Tim's remarkable life will be held in the summer of 2024 along the banks of one of his favorite fishing and floating rivers, The Bitterroot River, in Montana. This serene gathering will serve as a fitting tribute to the man who found solace in nature's embrace.
