Thomas Patrick Hogan, 48, was found at his home in Rathdrum, Idaho on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Tom died of natural causes. He was born in Spokane, Washington on January 25, 1964 and lived in the Rathdrum area for most of his life. He was the son of Jerry and Betty Rose Hogan. He graduated from Lakeland High School and NIC diesel mechanics school. In his youth, Tom enjoyed motorcycle riding, skiing, and snowboarding, but mostly he loved tinkering with cars and was a good mechanic with a special touch with the electrical wiring of most cars. Tom enjoyed being with his friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Betty Rose (Jones) Hogan and daughter Jennifer Hogan.
He is survived by his sons T.J. and Dillon, brothers Mike (Chris) Hogan of Asotin, WA and Joe (Simone)Hogan of Twin Lakes, ID, sisters Sally (Tom) Brunner of Athol, ID and Dianne (Mark) Miller of Spirit Lake, ID and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for Tom at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rathdrum, ID on Saturday March 31st at 10:00 a.m.
There will be a potluck buffet immediately following the service.
