Sonya Fay Day, 61, peacefully passed away at her home in Post Falls, Idaho on November 25, 2016, the day of her birthday and 27th wedding anniversary.
A celebration of Sonya’s life will be held at the Bell Tower Funeral Home and Crematorium in Post Falls on Saturday, December 3 at 10:00am.
Sonya Day was born in Berlin, Germany on November 25, 1955 and adopted by Frances Schuster and Donald Wahl. She was employed at Walmart in Hayden, Idaho, a graduate from Headmasters School of Hair Design, and Coeur d’ Alene High School.
Sonya’s Facebook excerpt about herself was, “I love honest, friendly people. I'm very easy going, my favorite color is Purple, and I love my kids and grandkids also Chinese food!” Sonya will truly be missed by many family, friends and all that knew her. They will never forget her contagious smile and her positive personality.
Sonya is dearly loved and survived by her husband, Robert Day; son, Scott Hashagen and wife Frankie; grandson Tyler Hashagen and wife Megan; and granddaughter Madalene Hashagen; daughter, Leah Bradfish and husband David; granddaughters Emily, Jordyn, and Jenna; son, Todd Day and wife Ronda; grandson Kedron Day and wife Caitrin; granddaughter Rebecca Larson and husband Craig; granddaughter Kalia Day; her five brothers, Bill Schuster and wife Leslie; Del Schuster; Forrest Schuster and wife Tami; Gary Criswell and wife Dena; Michael Barfus and wife Julia, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family members across the world.
