**In Loving Memory of Shane Elmose**

Shane Elmose, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away suddenly at his home in Rathdrum, Idaho, on February 11, 2025, at the age of 48. Born on February 1, 1977, in Deer Lodge, Montana, Shane was a shining light in the lives of many who knew him.

Growing up in Post Falls, Shane was a dedicated student and pursued excellence in all his endeavors. He graduated from Post Falls High School and earned an Associate Degree from North Idaho College, followed by an AS Degree in Machining and CNC Operations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho. His passion for learning was evident throughout his life, as he consistently sought opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills.

On September 24, 1998, Shane married his soulmate, Cheryl Rohbock, and they were sealed in the Spokane, Washington temple one year later. Together, they built a loving family, which became the center of Shane's world. He took immense joy in sharing countless adventures with his wife and their five children, whether it was fishing, camping, or hiking. Each moment together was a cherished memory, and his love for his family was unwavering.

Shane's career journey began as a welder, showcasing his versatility and work ethic. He dedicated nearly two decades of service to Jacklin's Riverbend Commerce Park, where he was known as the "Jack of All Trades." Most recently, he was employed at Wagstaff in Spokane, Washington, as a mechanical engineer, where his innovative spirit continued to shine.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Shane's faith and values were integral to his life. He instilled the importance of education, family, and hard work in his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire them.

Shane is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; his five children; his parents, Lawrence David and Tamara Jo Elmose; and three siblings. He leaves behind a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him but will forever be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the deep love he shared with his family and friends.

Please leave your favorite memories of Shane. Though Shane may no longer be with us, his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those he touched. May we all carry forward the love and lessons he shared, celebrating the beautiful life he lived. 

Shane's Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ in Rathdrum, Idaho on 15151 N. Meyer Rd., Rathdrum, Idaho 83858. A luncheon will be held immediately after the memorial service.
