Scott Earl Witcher, aged 96, peacefully passed away on October 27, 2023, Kootenai Medical Center Born on April 9 1927, inus, Montana, he was son of Valentine Hollings (Dick) Witcher Hazel Marie Beach. Scott spent early years in Thermopulas, Wyoming, where he on various odd jobs that shape his character. At a young age Scott enlisted in the Navy served his country with honor during World War II and the War. He diligently served as cook aboard the USS K Gulf. Additionally, he contributed the preservation of nature by in the forestry department as a lookout stationed high atop a.

Later in life, Scott discovered his remarkable talent as a carpenter. His skills were evident in numerous noteworthy projects such as banks, restaurants, schools, and even the Russian Pavilion at the World's Fair in Seattle. His craftsmanship could also be admired at the World's Fair in Spokane, Washington.

Scott endured the loss of his beloved spouse and found love once again with Dorothy Davisson as his devoted partner. Together they shared many cherished memories.

Known for his adventurous spirit and zest for life, Scott actively participated in various activities such as camping, snowmobiling, skydiving, and his love for motorcycles. He was a proud member of three clubs and was affiliated with both VFW and the American Legion.

Left to cherish his memory is Dorothy Davisson of Post Falls; his daughter Lynda Witcher-Carbough and her husband Ray Carbough; Penny Ford; two sisters Dixie Simmons and Patti Hill (both from Wyoming). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

As one of his nieces so eloquently put it, Scott answered the call of the eighth bell on National Navy Day. Anchors away!! We find solace in knowing that we will meet again in the sweet by and by.
