Dean died April 19 2022 at his home in Post Falls, Idaho. He was born on December 19, 1931 to father, Dana Campbell and mother, Beatrice Ball.
Dean grew up in Eugene, Oregon and went to High School at Rogue River Academy where he met the love of his life, Ruth Reed. Following high school, Dean then went to Vocational School for Photography.
That same year they were married in December 1951. Dean then went into the Army in March of 1953, at the end of the Korean War. After boot camp, he spent the rest of his time in France and Germany. He went home to Ruth in December 1954. Dean and Ruth had 4 children, Brett Reed Campbell, Jacqueline Sue Campbell, Victor Alan Campbell and Bruce Timothy Campbell.
Dean worked mostly as a carpenter, building homes, in Eugene, Oregon. The family moved to Klamath Falls in Summer of 1972. Where he started his own contracting business. “Homes by Rowland,” After he retired he traveled with “Maranatha Volunteers International" and built churches, schools, clinics, homes, restaurants, and orphanages in multiple different countries.
He did over a hundred projects and many of them, he led the project.
Dean was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
