Ronald J. Washburn, 71, passed away in his home on 01/09/2022. Ron grew up in Coeur d’Alene, ID, later moved to Alaska where he had a successful auto body business, and moved back to Idaho the place he called home. Ron served proudly in the United States Army. Ron loved classic cars, camping, fishing, and riding his Harley.
Ron is survived by his daughter Christa Brisboy, his longtime partner Maureen Wilson, his sisters Kathy Thayer and Kristie Triplet, his brothers Larry Washburn and Jerry Washburn, and his 6 grandchildren.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Lillian Washburn and his son Derrick Washburn.
Ron was full of life and was always doing what he could for those he loved. His relationships were very important to him and he always saw the best in everyone. Ron was someone everyone wanted to be friends with and he had a big personality no one could forget. Ron was a devoted son, father, partner, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed immensely by the many who knew him.
Service will be held on the 13th of February, 2022 at 03:00 P.M. at the VFW Post 3603 located at 12225 E. 3rd Ave Post Falls, Idaho
