ROBIN passed away on May 16th, 2020, at her home in Twin Lakes Idaho. Robin was born to Raymond and Dixie Metz on September 21st, 1953, in Yakima, Washington. Robin was a fiercely devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had the biggest heart, and always looked for a way to help others, especially those who were suffering or going through hard times. Robin’s professions include being a chef, owning a restaurant, waitressing, and running an adult care home just to name a few. She had many genuine qualities, talents, and hobbies, including her outstanding cooking, tending to her beautiful gardens, and her love for thrift stores and yard sales. She Loved shopping and finding treasures for not only herself but for others as well. She never hesitated to cook for her family or any gatherings, and she always showed up with her famous rolls that will be truly missed. Her gardens were beautiful, and she enjoyed spending hours tending to them for others to enjoy. Robin will be missed tremendously, and remembered for her kindness, compassion, faith, and her love for her family. She loved all her children and grandchildren beyond measures, and they loved her back. Robin is survived by her longtime companion Dean Green, siblings Teresa (Ron), Ron, and Raymond, sons James (Dawna), Robert (Stacy), and Bradley (Breanne), her grandchildren Caleb, Kiah, Lucas, Kinsley, and Dawson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Dixie Metz, sister Debbie Metz-Lindgren, daughter Alicia Lachey, and her Grandson Jamison Jacobsen, also her Grandson Gabriel Jacobsen. She Lived life to the beat of her own drum, and we will miss her dearly.
