Robin was born in Olympia, Washington to Floyd William Pierson and Shirlee Norma Pierson on June 15, 1947. She has a younger brother William Floyd Pierson who still resides in Olympia, Washington with his wife Candice. She graduated from Olympia High and went on to do some community college. She worked for the state for many years. She has 3 daughters, Cindy VonBloes, Kymberlee Brazell, and Ronna Drayfahl. She has several grandchildren, Ashlee Dustin, Amber Rocha, Justin Cocchiarella, Cody, Desirea Cocchiarella, and Cassie Richard, many great -grandchildren and was known to many as GG, and numerous nieces and nephews. Robin loved being a grandma and great -grandma.
Robin moved to Idaho in May of 1983 where she soon meet her best friend of 32 years Lani Rohr. She loved to go spend time over at Lani’s house for their girls nights.
Robin also loved to spend time in her garden or crocheting or playing cards. The grandkids always begged her to make her chicken and lumpy gravy. She loved to cook for them. She loved Christmas time and baking with all the kids.
Robin also had many children and grandchildren that weren’t related to her, but they were hers, and she was theirs. She had enough love to spread around and she gave it freely always making each one feel as if they were her own.
Many of her adult years were dedicated to taking care of her mother, first while her mother was living with her and then while her mother was in a nursing facility. For years Robin was at the facility her mother was residing in every Thursday for Bingo, Usually taking along at least on of her daughters and a couple of her grandchildren. Her mother preceded her in death in September of 2014.
Even though Robin left us unexpectedly, she has had many health issues and was diagnosed with MS 30 years ago. For the most part she never let this stop her from the things that she loved doing.
Robin loved the Lord and was very willing to share that with everyone. She rededicated her life to the Lord in 2014 when she was baptized by Pastor Cory Kirkham at Calvary Church in Rathdrum.
She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. If her health permitted it she was at each and every graduation, birthday party, wedding, or any other thing that involved her many children and grandchildren she had. She will be truly missed by all, but at the same time has given us many joyous memories and will live forever in the hearts of many.
