Robert Beck

Robert "Bob" Merle Beck (83) of Post Falls, ID, passed away December 29, 2011. Bob was born October 17, 1928 in Ramsey, Illinois to Basil E. & Ida Mae (Duvall) Beck. Bob married his soul mate of 63 years, Anne, in Rochelle, IL on December 24, 1948. They had 7 children together and resided the majority of their lives in Riverside, CA. They moved to Post Falls seven years ago. Bob was a true handyman, there was not a thing he couldn't fix. He was very mechanically inclined, and enjoyed opportunities to serve. As an usher at St. George's Catholic Church, his Sunday's involved greeting parishioners and counting tithes. Service was a big part of his life, especially the times he had to serve his own family. He was looked up to by all of his children and grandchildren. His love and dedication will never be forgotten but carried on. Bob is survived by his wife, Anne and their 5 daughters, Shirley D'Elia (Post Falls, ID), Patricia & Greg Marson (Hemet, CA), Lisa & Rick Cox (Cherry Valley, CA), Kathie & Craig Stevenson (Lithia, FL) and Carolyn & Cliff Boyer (Grand Terrace, CA). He is preceded in death by his 2 sons, Michael and Steve, whom he is now reunited with. Funeral Services will take place in Riverside, CA.
