Michiel Lee Bell Jr.

Michiel Lee Bell Jr., 55, of Post Falls, Idaho passed away August 22, 2017 at his home.  Michiel was born January 15, 1962 in Canoga Park, California to Michiel Sr. and Colleen (Crawford) Bell.  Michiel grew up in California, and as a young man he went to work for his father as an electrician. 

He eventually made his way to the Pacific Northwest where he continued working as an electrician in Washington State.  He later met Michelle Serdahl in Post Falls and they were married July 6, 1991 at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho they were married 26 years when Michiel passed. 

Michiel was a member of IBEW Local 73. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, working on race cars and being a part of Rockin' the Rivers annual music festival in Montana.

He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Bell of the family home in Post Falls, Idaho; his mother Colleen Bell of Post Falls, Idaho; four children Nicole (William) Osterdock of Post Falls, Idaho, Cassandra (Matt Lutrick) Bell of Spokane, Washington, Christopher Bell of Post Falls, Idaho, and Mikaela Bell of Post Falls, Idaho; three brothers Richard Bell of Post Falls, Idaho, Roger (Christine) Bell of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Francis (Jessica) Bell of Post Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren Anika, Alexi, Keeli, Danica and Eva; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his Father.

A Celebration of Michiel’s life will be held Tuesday August 29, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Bell Tower Funeral Home 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, Idaho 83854. 

The family suggests that memorials may be made to Hospice of North Idaho at 9493 N. Government Way Hayden, Idaho 83835.
