Michele Barham Kuhn, 77, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away peacefully in her home in Hayden on Friday, September 19, 2014.
Michele was born in Los Angeles, CA to Virginia and Michael Barham on March 11, 1937. She grew up in southern California attending Los Angeles High School and later, San Jose State. She was married to Robert Kuhn November 26, 1970 in Inglewood, CA. She was a homemaker and, with her husband Robert, a professional wall paper installer and owner of rental properties in north Idaho.
Throughout the years Michele volunteered her time with the local 4-H community and the Women’s Center of North Idaho. She loved gardening, doing miniatures, making cards and spending time with her family. Michele was a woman with a heart of unending compassion for all she met; always doing everything she could to help those in need. She was hardworking, kind, caring, selfless, and generous beyond measure. She was a lover of Life and an inspiration to her husband, children, grandchildren, and everyone who knew her.
Michele is survived by her husband, Robert Kuhn of Hayden, Idaho; her daughter Julie Kell and grandchildren Cameron and Samantha Naylor of York, Pennsylvania; her son and daughter-in-law Brian and Joanna Kell and granddaughters Alisha and Destiny Kell of Hayden, Idaho and grandsons Chris Bonasera of Boise, Idaho and Nick Bonasera of Spokane, Washington; her daughter and son-in-law Holli Lafrenz and Jack Curwen and grandson Aiden Hill of Hayden, Idaho; her brother and sister-in-law Kirk and Terry Barham of Rancho Mirage, California; her step-brother and step-brother-in-law Steve Mattice and Rick Guezlow of Rancho Mirage, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Michael Barham, her step-father Harold Mattice, her mother Virginia Mattice, and her beloved grandson Matthew Kell.
A private Celebration of Life was held Wednesday in Hayden. Charitable donations may be made to Hospice of North Idaho in her memory.
