Michael Lee Woodward

On May 21, 2021 Michael “Mike” Woodward, 71, of Spirit Lake ID, took his last breath here and a fresh breath in Heaven. Born October 3, 1949 in Springdale Ohio, to Charles and Mary Margaret Woodward he was the younger brother to Linda. Mike medically retired from the Fresno County Sheriffs Department in 1994, he had also worked for the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department prior to becoming a Deputy for Fresno County. Mike loved trains and going to Disneyland with his family. He is survived by his wife Jeanette, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage, his daughter Michelle and his daughter Amy, her husband Ryan and his five grandchildren Elijah, Aaron, Liam, Declan and Paden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
