Mary L Sands

Mary L. Sands, age 69 of Hayden, ID passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Mary was born on August 9,1950 in Chicago, IL where she was born and raised. She then spent many years in Schererville, IN with her family before relocating to Idaho. She loved gardening, knitting, crafts, collecting movies, and going fishing. She was a huge Stephen King fan and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She is survived by her two children, Mariah Dawson (IN) and Eric Dawson (ID); 2nd sons and daughters, Bobby Lewis Jr. (ID), Theresa Lewis (ID), Travis Hogan (ID), Tyson Parr (ID), Jeramy and Barbara Cooley (ID), and their families; grandchildren, Kaeli (Kurtis) Biteler (SD), Tommy Sands (IL), Michael Sands (IL), Tristan, Madison and Maggie Schlager (ND), Kaitryn, Logan and Colton Dawson (ID), and Hunter Dawson (IN); great grandchildren, Maddox, Sterling and Harlynn Biteler (SD); and many nieces and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by, Edward Sands (Father), Norine Sands (Mother), Jo Ann King (Sister), Michael Sands (Brother), Shannon Dawson (daughter), and Ashton Schlager (Grand Son).

In Lieu of any flowers, memorial contributions can be made in “Mary Sands” memory to the American Cancer Society. A private “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
