Mary Aune

In Loving Memory Mary E. Aune, beloved wife, mother, and friend..She will be missed dearly and never forgotten. Mary E. Aune, a long-time resident of the Spokane area, died Saturday the 2nd of June at Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital. Born in 1943 in Devils Lake, N.D., Mary moved to Spokane, WA where she met her husband of 38 yrs and raised 5 children. Mary worked for Spokane County for 5 yrs as an Animal Control officer and the Washington State Department of Licensing for 22 yrs, where she retired. Mary loved treasure hunting at the Goodwill, her pets, beading, painting, and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 38 yrs, Dennis R. Aune, brother Don Belcher (CA), 5 children, Shellie Kay, Rodney Burnett, Roger Burnett, Scott Bell, and Julie Hartzog, step daughter Dawn Berstler. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a grave site service June 15th @ 10 am at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
