Marvin was a Veteran through and through, serving in the Air Force for over 20 years as a B-52 pilot and flew all of the other big planes like the K-147. He served in the Vietnam war, flew over Saigon picking up wounded soldiers. He was very proud of his service to his country and flew many other special missions throughout his career.
He has been happily married to the love of his life, Gloria, for over 38 years. They were truly a blessing to one another. His family was his life. He understood the value of individual personal relationships with each of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone that met him, truly loved him, because he would always find and focus in on the positive of every person. In fact, when a person was sad, he would pull out his guitar and play ‘You are my Sunshine’ until he got a smile out of you. Marvin truly was a loving man, his actions proved it daily. He will be truly remembered and missed.
