Lou Dell Marshall

Lou Dell Marshall, age 89, resident of Post Falls, ID went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 28, 2012. Lou Dell was born on July 15, 1923 in Knox City, Texas to Tommy and Hazel (Kilgore) Skains. She worked as a nurse for many years and loved patient care. She worked in nursing homes and hospitals before retiring in 1986. Lou Dell is survived by her husband, James of Post Falls; children, Edward (Joanne) Buchanan of Little Rock, AK, Donald (Dee Dee) Buchanan of Gooding, ID, Cliff (Teresa) Buchanan (Fallon, NV) Linda (Ralph) Hermendez (Big Timber,MT) Karen (Tom) Noble (Post Falls, ID) Gerald (Debbie)Marshall (Huson, MT); siblings Jimmy Stanfield of Surrly,Virginia and Janet Curtin of Columbus,Ohio. She has 18 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Tommy Skains, Bobbie Jean Houser, Margaret Wright, Hubert Skains, Charles Troy Skains; and a granddaughter, Paula Buchanan. Bell Tower Funeral Home is in care of arrangements. There will be a viewing on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 4-6 pm at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, ID. A Memorial Service will be held at Lifeway Chapel, 501 W. 15th Ave., Post Falls, ID on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11 am. Donations are requested to be given to Hospice of North Idaho. A special 'Thanks' to the Hospice nursing staff and Dr. Fogarty for their compassionate care and love during Lou Dell's illness.
