Linda L. (Fairweather) Folk passed away on February 8, 2024, at home surrounded by her husband, of 60 years, James Folk, her daughter, Ronda Mein and Rick Bogar.
She was born January 28, 1942, to Warren and Clarice Fairweather in Wallace, Idaho. She later moved to Republic, Washington and stayed with her grandparents, Gus and Alice Yenter. Her family moved to Wallace, Idaho where she graduated from high school in 1959.
She worked as a beautician, for JC Penney, the City of Kellogg and the State of Idaho. In retirement, her and Jim traveled to Arizona during the winters and made many dear and lifelong friends. Summer weekends were spent camping with family and friends on the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River making cherished memories.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary Fairweather, daughter Roberta Schoening and son Gregory Folk. She is survived by her husband Jim; children Ronda Mein (Rick Bogar) & Kevin (Lena) Folk; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers Robert (Mary) Fairweather; Stan (Tina) Fairweather and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
