In Loving Memory of Leonard Auston Ramey
Leonard “Lenny” Auston Ramey was 50 years old when he grew his wings... resident of CDA, ID, went to be with our Lord on November 5, 2021. Born in Bonners Ferry, ID to James & Greta in 1971.
After graduation he enlisted in the Navy and served on the Ship, USS Carl Vincent during Desert Storm. After getting out, he decided he wanted to start driving, so he became a truck driver, when he bored of that, he worked for a lumber mill, then got tired of that so he went back to truck driving, then eventually ended up working at Wal-Mart Automotive center with his wife.
Proudly married Rebecca in 1999, he was very proud of the fact that she actually married him twice.
Leonard’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, enjoying the outdoors, disc golf, and reading. He loved being a jokester and fulfilling dares made by friends, (Eddie). He was always there for his friends or if someone was in need he was right there to help.
He is survived by wife, Rebecca. Children Heather Steven and Crista, 3 grandchildren Kobey, Kennedy, Kara; brothers Paul & Brian; sister in laws Trina & Danielle; Dad Leon; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his Mother Greta, Father James, grandparents, aunts & uncles.
He will truly be missed by his family, friends, and work family.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at 10:00 am at St Pius X Catholic Church 625 E. Haycraft Ave. Coeur d’Alene, ID.
