Leo Carl Neal “Junior”, 17, of Post Falls left this world too soon May 23, 2016. He was born in Coeur d’ Alene, ID June 23, 1998 to Leo Carl and Misty Naomi Neal.
Leo was not your normal teenager when it came to responsibility. He had a work ethic that exceeded the norm. He had his own pavement sealing business that he built up all on his own. He was very involved in his parent’s business, Leo Neal Paving. He enjoyed every opportunity to go to work with his Dad. He was his “Daddy’s Partner.” Junior was a quick learner and a great listener. He was also the first person to help lighten his mother’s load. She always appreciated his willingness and was considered “Momma’s Helper.”
Junior was very active in sports, hunting, fishing and riding ATVs. He loved to play football, but had to make the hard choice the beginning of his Jr year to decide between playing football or building his business. Through his ventures in business, he was drawn to DECA. There he excelled greatly and developed skills and knowledge that would benefit his future. He was involved in DECA for the last 2 years and recently was called as an Officer for his club.
The special thing about Leo was his heart. Through his actions and his smile, others could actually feel his love and generous nature. He was ALWAYS there to help anyone in need…from clipping his grandparent’s bushes, bringing Taco Bell to the gang to anonymously putting money on another student’s lunch account so that they could eat.
Leo was the big brother to so many. He was a protector in so many ways. His actions spoke volumes. Family was always first.
Leo is survived by his parents, Leo and Misty Neal, his little brother Louie, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Leo, we will always remember you and try every day to think of other’s and their needs. We will try to follow your example. We ALL love you!
Leo’s services will be held at Candlelight Christian Fellowship Church 5725 N. Pioneer Dr. Coeur d’ Alene, Id on Tuesday May 31, 2016 at 4:00 P.M.
