Leah Rae Bybee Lyon, 78, of Paris, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 in Spokane Valley, Washington. Born May 9, 1934, she was the daughter of Elden Ray and Hazel Christine Bybee. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kay Smith Lyon, her sister Joanne Morton and her grandson, Jesse Lyon. She is survived by her brother Elden Arlen (Joann) Bybee, of Pocatello, Idaho,daughter, Deborah (Guy) Hirschi of Spokane, Washington, Tammy (Marc) Rubino of Tucson, Arizona and son, Matt (Charlene) Lyon of Elko, Nevada. She had 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Leah had a special love for the Bear Lake Valley. She enjoyed snowmobiling with her husband and being outdoors. She loved to sing and enjoyed singing in the Sweet Adeline's choir in Pocatello, and later in the Chord Busters barbershop group in
Montpelier. She also loved her gardening and flowers. She enjoyed camping, fishing, needlework and loved to travel and spend time with her family. Viewing will be at Matthews mortuary, Montpelier, Idaho on Thursday, May 2nd, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm with graveside services directly after at the Sharon cemetery.
