Kwin Adam Wilkinson, beloved husband of nineteen years to Sarah Anderegg, passed peacefully at his home from this life December 27th 2016. He is the son of Karl and Tamy Wilkinson, who brought him home, tucked in a stocking, the night of Christmas Eve forty-two years ago. He was born December 24, 1974. He was the perfect Christmas gift. His first home was an old farmhouse in the Foothills of Spokane, WA. Many adventures for Kwin and his five siblings began there, including the time he accidentally set the hay in the barn on fire and it burned to the ground; he was six. That might have been his first campfire. Kwins family moved to Otis Orchards, WA when he was seven. He grew up there until he married his eternal sweetheart, Sarah, in the LDS Salt Lake City, Utah temple on January 23, 1998. At the age of thirteen Kwin was hunting for rabbits in the hills behind his home, where he was accidentally shot, leaving him paralyzed from just above his waist to his toes. This never slowed Kwin down. In fact his courage, bravery, humor and determination from that experience and throughout his life has left countless people in awe of him. He graduated from East Valley High School, attended a semester at Spokane Community College, taught at Agilent for three years and was an internet entrepreneur. He and his wife owned and ran Treehouse Childcare for thirteen years. They loved caring for the children. Kwin has a passion for guns, is an Eagle Scout and an outdoor enthusiast. We will feel his spirit at our campfires. He is survived by his wife, Sarah; his parents Karl and Tamy of Spokane, WA; his 5 brothers and sisters and their spouses, Adam and Amy Kremin, Aaron and Madeline Wilkinson, John and Jenny Filetti, Kory and Rebekah Wilkinson, Carson and Amy Wilkinson; and his 17 nieces and nephews Isaac, Taylor, Genesis, Jasmine, Jesse, Jarron, Carson Jr., Titan, Diezel, Keira, Easton, Max, Mason, Kaitlin, Emma, Talon and Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31st, 2016 @ 12:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4014 S. Bowdish Rd. Spokane, WA. 99206. If desired, contributions may be made @ www.gofundme.com/kwins-last-wish
