Kurtis Ray Cox, 49, of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho passed away April 4, 2014 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Kurtis was born February 11, 1965 in Caldwell, Idaho to William and Arden (Roberts) Cox.
Kurtis attended and graduated from Post Falls High School in 1984. He worked at various places including HVAC, Burlington Northern refueling station, a butcher for inland meats in Spokane, Washington, as a cook in Cascade, Idaho, and most recently as a handy man for property management.
He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and swimming. His passion was “shed” hunting, and had a special area he went to frequently dubbed “his place.”
Kurtis is survived by his Father Bill (Nancy) Cox, his Mother Arden (Bill) Lindsley, his older brother Kelly Cox, his younger Sister Karrie Cox, niece Heather Loudenback, and two nephews Tyler Loudenback and Tyler Cox.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 12, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Bell Tower Funeral Home 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, Idaho, with Pastor Mike Slothower officiating.
