Kenya Williams, 53, passed away in Rathdrum, Idaho on Monday, October 21st, 2024.
Kenya was born on June 13th, 1971 in Champaign, IL and grew up in Los Angeles, CA.
One of Kenya’s most memorable jobs was as a call center trainer for T-Mobile/Center Partners in Coeur d’Alene, ID. He was known to be the boss people had the most fun with, and received the best life advice from. He also spent over 20 years as a DJ for Mik’s in Coeur d’Alene. Prior to his passing, Kenya worked as a data analyst where he coded and built databases for various companies.
Kenya was known for his loud, outgoing personality and enthusiastic sense of humor. He loved spending time with family and friends, and he made a fun and lasting impression on every stranger. He had the best advice, stories to tell, and advice to give. He believed in love, faith, hope, and joy; he shared these beliefs with everyone around him. Kenya was considered a nerd with a huge love for TV shows, movies, video games, and comic books.
He is survived by his parents; Nathan Gibson and Elanna Williams-Tutt, and his five children; Jordan, Sylvia, Joanna, Jeron, and Park.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at Bell Tower Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by Chaplain Jon Dekeles. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
