Kathleen Ann Rigoli was born on July 10, 1953, in Post Falls, Idaho to David and Barbara Fandry. After a 9-month battle with leukemia, she went to meet her heavenly father on 9/20/22.
Kathy graduated from Post Falls High School in 1971. She always had a penchant for numbers and worked as an accountant and invoicing clerk in various positions for various companies until she retired from WalMart after 21 years in 2019.
Kathy met Bill Rigoli in Rock Springs, Wyoming and they were married September 24, 1983. They had two sons, Jared and Joseph, who added to a blended family with Bill’s two children, Chris and Kim. After 12 years living in Evanston, the family briefly moved to Kill Devil Hills, NC before moving to Post Falls in 1996.
Kathy fiercely loved her family. Some favorite family memories of Kathy include sitting down to her home cooking at nightly family dinners, playing a competitive game of cards or dice, and curling up on the couch watching TV as a family. She was a doting grandmother to Kathryn, Jackie, Mason and Micah.
Kathy enjoyed gardening and was able to make anything grow. She was an avid collector of roosters and nutcrackers. She looked forward to decorating for Christmas every year and left some of her favorite decorations up all year long. She loved cooking but hated cleaning up afterwards.
Kathy was passionate about The Order of Eastern Star and was an active member for 50 years in Wyoming and Idaho. At her passing she served as Grand Secretary for OES. She was a past Matron of Clover Chapter, Martha Chapter, Ponderay Chapter, and Magnolia Chapter and continued to be an active member in all of those chapters. She served as every star point at Clover Chapter including serving as secretary for 13 years. Before she became a member of Clover Chapter in 1972, she belonged to Bethel 41 of the International Order of Job’s Daughters in Rathdrum, ID.
She was also an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where she served as past president of the Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls Auxiliaries. At her passing she was a current member of Auxiliary 4080 where she served as auditor and enjoyed facilitating bingo nights.
