Justin Lee Bartoschek

November 18, 1971 — May 18, 2021

Justin Lee Bartoschek, a resident of Hermiston, died unexpectantly on May 18, 2021, at the age of 49. He was born in Orofino, Idaho and immediately filled the lives of those around him with joy. Justin grew up in Hermiston raised by his Mom, (Cathy) and Burt with his 5 siblings. He spent many years working in alcohol and drug treatment centers. He worked for CCC Sobering Station in Portland and Powerhouse Rehab in Hermiston. He also worked in the OIL Fields in North Dakota. Justin was an avid fisherman who spent much of his time chasing salmon and steelhead from the Deschutes River to North Idaho. Anyone who knew Justin, knew he had a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and shared it with many. He spent time with people and made many friends. Cherished by his family and loved by many, Justin’s caring heart and kindness spread far and wide as he helped others. Justin never hesitated to go out of his way for someone and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His presence is sorely missed, and his loss felt deeply. He was a loving and fun uncle who was adored by his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Cathy Minnick and father, Henry Bruns, siblings, Melissa Paiz (Damien), Troy Minnick (Lana) Aaron Bartoschek (Pam), Matthew Bartoschek (Niki), Trina Kline (Dale), grandmother, Juanita Kiser and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his stepfather, Burt Minnick. A celebration of Life will be held for 2 pm on June 26, 2021, at New Hope Church in Hermiston, Oregon. We hope you will come and share your memories with us. Reception will follow at church
