Judith Donna (Dick) Temple
Judith Donna Temple, age 72, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2021 of natural causes after battling cancer and diabetes for several years. She was born December 6, 1948 in Seattle, Washington to Donald and Bertha Dick. She married her husband of 51 years on August 2, 1969 in Burien, Washington.
Judie was an accomplished pianist and teacher with over 50 years of teaching the piano to students of varying ages who knew how to put her feelings into her music. She was involved in church all of her life and sang in trios with her sisters as well as other vocal groups. When her children would come home after school they could tell mom’s mood by the music she was playing whether she was happy, sad, or upset.
One of the comments I’ve received over and over again from friends and family is her beautiful smile.
She was a wonderful mother -who not only doted on her children but sacrificed so that they could have more of the amenities of life.
One of her favorite scriptures was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
She is survived by her husband Roger Temple, son James and wife Becka Temple of Lynnwood, WA, son Kevin Temple of Springville, Utah, daughter Elizabeth Temple of Ogden, UT, and three grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters: Shirley and husband George Weber, Sharon and husband Bryan Hoff, Jean and husband Kenneth Kauffman, Eileen and husband James Saemenes, and two brothers Jimmy and wife Pam Donaldson, and Robert Dick.
