Judith Ann Robbins

February 18, 1941 — August 29, 2016

Judith Ann Robbins, 75, of Spirit Lake, Idaho passed away August 29, 2016 at the Hospice House in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Judith was born February 18, 1941 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Glen and Veda (Strohl) Fahey. As a child Judith moved with her family to Caldwell, Idaho where she attended and graduated from High School. Soon after high school she met Harold Robbins through one of her sisters and they were later married May 14, 1960 in Caldwell, Idaho. They were married 56 years when Judith passed. Together they moved to Creston, Washington where they raised their two daughters. After Harold’s retirement from Boise Cascade, they moved to Spokane where they started their own trucking business, and eventually settled in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Judith enjoyed bowling, reading, oil painting, and flower gardening. She loved her family and enjoyed knitting them slippers, and embroidering sleeping bags for Christmas, as well as loved helping her grandchildren with FFA. She is survived by her loving husband Harold of the family home in Spirit Lake, Idaho; two daughters, Tina (Tom) Niemiste of Hailey, Idaho, and Cory (Doug Primmer) Gibson of Spokane, Washington; seven grandchildren Marcus, Adam, Kami, Austin, Kaylee, Kyle, and Mica; six and a half great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters Cherrie Burnette, and Sue Koetje. A Celebration of Judith’s Life will be held at a later date.
