On August 9th, 2020, Jack Edward Doyle passed into eternity.
He was a fun-loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather
who always enjoyed being silly. He loved to tease and laugh
with those he loved.
Jack was born in Saginaw, MI, on June 7th, 1930. He joined
the military in 1949 and served in two branches—the US
Marine Corps and the US Air Force. He fought in the Korean
and Vietnam wars, and retired as an Air Force Master Sergeant
in August of 1969. He received several awards, including, but
not limited to, the National Defense Service Medal, Korean
Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, two Good
Conduct Medals, Air Force Commendation Medal, Republic of
Vietnam Campaign Medal, and multiple bronze stars.
He married Carolyn Scott in August, 1956 in Saginaw, MI, and
they had 6 children together. His hobbies included fishing and
wood working.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, mother
Blanche, father Ray, all of his siblings: Pat, Dan, Richard, Betty,
and Ruth, and his two oldest sons: Jack and Floyd. He is
survived by his 4 remaining children: Dina, Nola, Fran, and
Tom, as well as his grandchildren: John, Angela, Floyd Jr,
Austin, Brandy, Daniel, and Jayden, and great-grandchildren:
Jayden, Julian, Jaelin, Lillian, Andrew, Hannah, and Caitlyn.
