JoAnn Miller, 71, of Post Falls, went to be with the Lord in the presence of her family March 15, 2017, at The Schneidmiller House in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Joann was born March 21, 1945 in Beebee, Arkansas to William and Gladys (Reed) Taylor.
As a child, JoAnn moved with her family to Refugio, Texas where she spent the rest of her childhood. There she met Roger Bafus and they were married September 28, 1963. Together they moved and lived throughout the United States as Roger was in the United States Navy.
In the spring of 1977 she moved to Moscow, Idaho. There she started a daycare which she ran until 1984 when she retired. She continued to live in Moscow until 2006 when she relocated to Post Falls, Idaho to be near her family.
JoAnn was a member of the Moose Lodge, and the Eagles. She was a free spirit, who loved “love.” She also enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family especially her grand and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters Marcy Connolly of Post Falls, Idaho, Ingrid Watson of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, and Erika Bafus of Troy, Idaho; one brother Robert Taylor of Texas; one sister Mary Ann Moore of Louisiana; five grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Lorraine Taylor.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
