A great man gone too soon, Jared Matthew Pope was always destined for greatness. William Wallace wrote: "Every man dies - Not every man really lives.", and in this instance - we were blessed and honored to watch a man live to his fullest. With his wife Monica by his side, Jared filled a lot of life into 33 years. As a father, Jared took pride and comfort in his children: Tyler, Aubrey, and Kylie. As a son, he was diligent and strong for his parents, James Pope and Jeanie Johnson. As a brother to Torry, Chandelle, Marni, Brandon, and Dannette, Jared was the shining example of courage, wisdom, and honor. A man known for his passion, wit, and quiet strength, Jared shared his infectious smile with many, and had a well-known love for snowboarding, landscaping, dirt bikes, and the San Francisco 49'ers. His life began on May 26, 1978 in Mesa, Arizona, and tragically ended on March 22, 2012 in Post Falls, Idaho. You will never be forgotten, Jared. We will find the comfort of your spirit in the wind, in song, in the sunrise. The journey is the reward for those of us left behind. Join us in a celebration of Jareds' life on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 2 pm, at Gretna Green Chapel in Spokane, WA.
