James passed at age 61. He will be missed by his family, co-workers and the community.
James was the owner of Pro-Tech Hardwood Floors and has worked in the community for the last 15 years. James was known for his excellence in his work and was an amazing artist with an eye for detail and color and had an ability to see outside the box, James was a true artist at what he did. James was a family man with 5 step children and 2 of his own. Melissa Mayfield, Christian Pedersen, Sabrina Pedersen, Nick Pedersen, Steven Pedersen, Jacob Pedersen, Emma Riemer. Those of you who knew him will miss his smile and heart. James is survived by his sister Nancy Carlock who Is the last of his immediate family though James has a large extended family.
James grew up in California and loved to surf and as he headed north he grew to love the outdoors with camping, fishing and boating. One of his great delights was to have our dog Lady stand at the helm of the boat with the breeze in her hair and looking for ducks. He was an avid Seahawks fan and loved to watch football with his mother in her end years and bringing lots of snacks for them to eat. He loved conversing with his dad and working through ideas and inventions. They had many good laughs.
James loved to take the boys to baseball games, fishing and making family dinners. He was very strong about the family eating a good meal together. The twinkle in his eye was Emma and he loved seeing her create her art and pointing out the positives with her. Emma and James had a lot of fun filling the fish tank with different fish and naming them.
James was all about family! He considered his workers family and would always consider them in all his plans. James loved planning a yearly family vacation to really blow it out, He even made sure he would plan one with his workers so they could have fun together.
Memorial Services will be on October 9th Starting at St. George's Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am
Then at 2:00 pm at Bell Tower Funeral Home for a memorial Service and food with Pastor Tim Remington.
