James Raymond Isbell

James R. Isbell, 86, aka Izzy, Passed away on August 13, 2024, peacefully at his home in Rathdrum, Idaho. James was born at home in Adams County, Colorado, 10/6/1937, to Paul and Lottie (Hedrick) Isbell, and James was the youngest of three children. He graduated from Rathdrum High School in 1956. His army service was from 1960 to 1962. He worked as a farm laborer for several farmers over the years. James is survived by his sister Irene Thol (John). His two children Jack Isbell (Jesse), Lottie Isbell (Dean), his Grandchildren Zachary, Timothy, Adora, Jared, Hunter and, Sharley. His nieces and nephews Leann LaFerriere (Leon), Alan Thol, Joel Isbell (Lee), Byron Isbell and Ronald Isbell (Kathy) and several great nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Paul, and his wife Marion Debbie Isbell.

Funeral services will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls Idaho at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024
